First Day of Jr High

August 9, 2013
           It was the first day of Jr high. I was not ready it felt like high school and he is so little not ready for all this. I'm not ready for dances and lockers and all this. I cried and I've never cried on the first day of school ever !! I just want my summer and my kids back. He is all alone in this school. So Not ready but the first day was coming like it or not. He has to be on the bus for 6:20, but I brought it the first day. So much is changing this year.

long over due update

        It's been since Halloween 2011 since I updated. Alex is getting to the age where nothing major happens every day. After Halloween was Christmas. It's was pretty much your normal Christmas. We baked cookies as we do every year, my grandparents came to visit and brought gifts then. We went to Aunt House on Christmas eve after Church and then home in time for Santa to come. It was Great Christmas. I believe I woke up sick that year, but Christmas was at my house so I didn't do much. New years we stayed home as well. Alex turn 4 & 12 on Feb 29, 2012 !! He got an ipod and we had a few kids sleep over with a space walk. Then in April I broke my ankle that was rough so Easter was interesting with me in a wheel chair, but we had a wonderful summer and August 2012 Alex's started his last year at Pineview. We had Halloween 2012 where Alex did not dress up. He did go trick or treating, but was upset cause we had to go home early due to Emmaleigh being sick. Then was Christmas. Another normal Christmas Alex did learn the truth behind everything. It gives me funny looks when I talk to the younger kids. New Years we stayed home. Then alex turned 13 !! he is a teenager !!!! He got an iphone for this birthday, but has to work for the monthly bill and he has lost his phone already due to grades. The 6th grade was a stuggle due to Alex being lazy ! He did pass, but not by much and next year he will be in Jr. high !! wish us luck !!! In other News Alex will be a big brother yet again !!! I told all the kids on April Fools Day !!! He asked me if I had enough kids LOL ....when you have 5 what's one more..... anyhow it's now Summer time. I'm hoping to enjoy the pool until it's back to school again !

 

 

 

Halloween

10/31/11

Halloween was on a Monday this year. Alex got home from school a little after 4pm. I had planned to walk with his friends mom. I was getting the little ones ready and Daddy was getting Alex dressed. He dressed up as a Ninja ! It was a bit of a fight because Cameron wanted to be a ninja and Alex wasnted to be one too. Alex also said he wasn't dressing up if Cameron dressed up as a ninja. I'm kinda feeling like this might be his last year being that he is going to be 12 in a few months. We were ready by 5:30 in time to do a few pictures and walk down to his friends house. his friends little brother was having a melt down about a gun. So I took all the kids while the mom went to look for a gun for him. 7 kids was an adventure ! Kids got lots of candy and Halloween is over on to November ... Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up fast.
