Alexander's 3rd year 2.28.02-2.28.03

Alexander's 3rd year. It was pretty quite. We we still doing our play groups and enjoying them. Both boys were everywhere. We moved out of our first apartment and back into Gran's condo, but this time it was just our family Gran wasn't living there. The boys had a much bigger bedroom. Alexander was such a fun little guy to be around. He was out of his terrible two's pretty early and they weren't too bad. Towards the end of his 3rd year we found out Alexander was going to be a big brother for a 2nd time. We were very excited about this wonderful news. I decided to try a different birth. I wanted to go drug free. I couldn't wait and Alexander understood there was a baby in my tummy a little bit more this time around.

Alexander's 2nd year 2.28.01-2.28.02

Alexander's 2nd year was just as wonderful as his first. When he was exactly 13 months old he became a big brother to little brother Cameron Nicholas. I was worried how it would work out having two little boys so close in age. How to I do it all by myself while Daddy works. Daddy and I moved into our first place a few days after Cameron was born a little 2 bedroom apartment. I had help with the boys at first, but I wanted to do it on my own. I was scared with Alexander not walking very well and Cameron being so little and us being in an upstairs apartment. I manged though. I put Cameron in either a sling or his car seat and carried Alexander down and used my double stroller when ever I went anywhere. When Cameron was about 6 months old I had a pretty good handle on thing. I joined a play group which Alexander Loved. I even started to watch the twins a little bit and took all 4 boys out with me. Alexander didn't understand about his brother much at first, but as time went on they started to play together and I couldn't get over seeing my boys together. saying I have two boys. calling them the boys. my sons. We were a wonderful Family of 4 and I felt very blessed with my family. Alexander had a wonderful 2nd Birthday filled with lots of fun and laughter.

Alexander's First year 2.29.00-2.28.01

Alexander First year was a wonderful one, full of first for both of us. I was thrilled to have a wonderful little boy and to show my pride and joy off to all my family. I did want to breastfeed him with all my heart, but It just didn't work out for Alexander and I. While Alexander and I were in the hospital the nurses gave him a bottle with out my okay. It was down hill from there. I struggled with his latch and weight gain they put him on formula at 5 weeks when he started losing weight. Dr. French put me on Birth control which didn't help with my supply. In Alexander's first year we watched him and our family grow. First came his twin cousins Tyler and Taylor. Then we found out when Alexander was only 7 months old he would be a big brother right after his first birthday the baby was due. We found out it would be another little boy. I had wanted a girl since I already had a perfectly little boy I couldn't imagine having another son and loving him as much as I already loved Alexander, but clearly I was very wrong. I gave up nursing all together when we learned of Alexander's little brother. It was a very sad thing for me I even tried to start nursing again a few weeks later when I got bit ouch ! Alexander even got to meet his great great grandmother while we had 5 generations alive. He had a wonderful First year we lived with my mom so he got to bond with his Gran. His first birthday was wonderful. I was big and pregnant he had a Winnie the pooh party and we had a ton of friends and family there we had a wonderful first year with our wonderful little boy !
