Halloween

Halloween was on a Monday this year. Alex got home from school a little after 4pm. I had planned to walk with his friends mom. I was getting the little ones ready and Daddy was getting Alex dressed. He dressed up as a Ninja ! It was a bit of a fight because Cameron wanted to be a ninja and Alex wasnted to be one too. Alex also said he wasn't dressing up if Cameron dressed up as a ninja. I'm kinda feeling like this might be his last year being that he is going to be 12 in a few months. We were ready by 5:30 in time to do a few pictures and walk down to his friends house. his friends little brother was having a melt down about a gun. So I took all the kids while the mom went to look for a gun for him. 7 kids was an adventure ! Kids got lots of candy and Halloween is over on to November ... Thanksgiving and Christmas coming up fast.

Summer ....

Summer has come to an End For Alex. He finished up baseball early in the summer, met some new friends in the neighborhood. He spent a lot of time at the pool. At his friends house. We even went camping, tubing and took a quick beach trip before getting full fores into the new school year. We have had out struggles with his attitude and showing respect to us. He is now 11 1/2 years old and in the 5th grade let the school year begin ...... I'm not looking forward to the end of our lazy days at the pool and the homework starting up and He seems to already be struggling with some of the work. He is asking to join band ! It's nice to hear something he actually wants to do other than video games. I am looking foward to a little likes chaos in my house during the day ! I hope he has a good year ! He only has this year and next year before he goes off to Jr. High He is growing up so fast and we are butting heads these days I hope as he grows we can get over our rough patch and get closer. I know I can't be his friend but I don't want to be his enemy either. I love that kid, but he pushes my buttons and drives me batty !! 12 is just a around the corner please tell me it gets easier with boys ......
