Alexander's 6th year 2.28.05-2.28.06

Alexander's 6th year was a year of many ups and downs. Alexander finished up his Pre-K school year. He even lost some teeth this year and the tooth fairy came to visit. My pregnancy was coming along nicely How ever I had a few premature labor scares, so we spent alot of time at the YMCA to keep things calm. We found out Alexander was going to have another little brother, but we keep the gender a secret until his birth. We moved into a wonderful Three bedroom apartment. We had some friends from out of town and there children come in. It started out great there was some drama with it that was very hard on us but when they left we were sad to see most of them leave and had such a wonderful time. Alexander was due to start school in September He was going to a new school due to our move. Alexander was going to be in Kindergarten this year. I was looking forward to those last days of my pregnancy and very excited for Alexander to be in Kindergarten I loved the new school, but on August 29, 2005 our world was turned upside down. Hurricane Katrina hit. We lost everything in our home and were displaced for many months Alexander and I were even living apart. He lived with Daddy in one town while I lived an hour away in another. On October 6, 2005 his little brother,Zackariah was born he was there to watch the birth. Alexander Cut Zackariah cord and told the whole Kindergarten class "mommy pooped his baby brother out and he was cover in red stuff" In October 2005 Alexander started Kindergarden at his new school. In November 2005 our family was reunited in a small 2 bedroom apart but it didn't matter as long as we were together. Right before Alexander's 6th Birthday we made it back in our apartment and we knew how blessed we were to now be a family of 6 and together and couldn't be happier.
